My name is Reuben Weiner. I am a former Eco Tour Guide who struggled with my weight my entire life. I could never sustain a healthy diet despite being someone who was very active both in what I did for work and being a regular at the gym. During covid, the gym went away and my weight and mental health took a turn for the worst. A year and 55lbs later, I became a personal trainer because of that journey. I became keenly aware of how many people were trying to take the same journey as I did and were failing, and I want to change that narrative. I am not your drill sergeant tough love trainer. I am someone who has worked with people from all walks of life and someone who will be supportive, patient, and open minded about your plan of attack. In a typical session, we start with a light warm up, go into our main workout, and take our time to cool down at the end. I place a HUGE emphasis on education because my goal is not only to help you hit your goals but also to provide you with the knowledge to sustain your success!!!

Reuben has been a truly amazing guide in my fitness journey and in helping me attain my goals.  At this point I am just about halfway to my goal weight and I feel more confident and overall better in my day to day.  So much of that is owed to Reuben and his consistent efforts and dedication to help me reach my goals.  Each session is enjoyable and I don't feel like I'm training with a coach; I feel like I'm training with a friend.

I've been training with Reuben for almost a year.  My results have been great.  I was never comfortable in a gym environment, but Reuben makes working out something I look forward to.  He's knowledgeable, explains exercises in a way that's easy to understand, and listens to my concerns.  He devises a program tailored to my needs.  I had old injuries that he is helping me strengthen.  I'm seeing results I wouldn't have thought possible.

I am a 42 year old woman who wants to continue on my health and wellness journey.  However, consistency is something I really struggle with, I usually start strong and fall off after a couple weeks.  I started working with Reuben this past November and he talked to me about my goals and suggested powerlifting to me, honestly I thought he was crazy at first, me a 42 year old woman powerlifting.  After some research, and the need to find something I could stick with, I said yes!  The program that Reuben made me, his passion for fitness, and his encouragement has helped me to stay program tailored to my body type and he took the time to figure out what areas I really needed to gain strength in.  I would highly recommend Reuben for personal training!  He's professional, passionate, and knowledgeable in what he does.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to join a gym or buy a bunch of equipment? 

Not if you don’t want to! I want you to be comfortable in whatever environment you choose to be in. Although a gym membership is a great starting point to have, you do not need any fancy equipment to hit your goals. You can workout anywhere you want to and achieve your goals. 

Do you also provide nutrition counseling and advice?

Yes! As part of your program package, you will receive a complimentary nutrition consultation. In this consultation, we go step by step in creating a roadmap for your success. 

How are you different from a regular gym trainer?

There are 3 things here that separate my program from a commercial gyms programs. The attention to detail that I provide as well as the warm, welcoming environment we train in are paramount.  I want my clients to be comfortable in a gym environment and confident and being able to do this. The third and arguably biggest difference is the end result. Not only will you see amazing results, but my style of training will arm you with all the knowledge to be able to do this on your own. I place a huge emphasis on education to ensure success for the short and long term.
